What is a Wild and Wacky (or just unusual) job that you would like to experience just for one day?

  • Sean (Editor-in-Chief) I would love to be a stunt person for just one day. I think it would be extremely exciting and I would love to learn all their tricks. I know it is hard on your body though and very risky, so I would just like to try it out.
  • Olivia (Assistant Editor) I’d love to be one of those experienced sky-dive teachers who strap themselves to people as they try their first jump off the airplane.
  • Natalie (Jr. Assistant Editor) For one day, I would like to experience being a tight-rope walker in the circus. I’m not exactly sure why this intrigues me, but it does, watching those people up on a tight-rope walking across.
  • Tanmaya (LOL Editor) The most wild and wacky job for me would be being a chef for the animals in the jungle! As I love animals, I would like to cook something special for them. I would also organize a proper eating place so that they get a restaurant-like feeling. Basically, in short, I would like to open a restaurant only for animals in the jungle and cook wacky items for them! I’ll also try to teach them table manners :P….all that is required is that the animals need to be tamed! 😉
  • Isabella (Contributing Writer) A wild and wacky job that I would like to experience for a day would be a fire breathing street performer. It’s dangerous, exciting and entertaining. Maybe I could even roast marshmallows during the act?
  • Anni (Contributing Writer) I would like to be a fact checker. I would make sure people are truthful when they are on the on the radio or television doing ads or political ads.
  • Celine Tien, (Contributing Writer) I know I always look forward to cracking open the fortune cookie at the end of a Panda Express meal, and revealing my fortune- wouldn’t it be cool to be the one creating the texts on the strips of paper? For one day, I want to know what it’s like to be the person behind the fortunes, telling millions of people what they see as they crack open their fortune cookies!
  • Gen (Sci-Tech Columnist) I would love to be a CSI agent for one day. Maybe I’ve watched too much TV but I am addicted to the science and psychology behind crime scene investigations. The Mentalist, Bones and CIS: Miami had me thinking about a degree in psychology and becoming an agent. The use of special chemicals to uncover clues, futuristic and current technology and profiling are just a small part of the unusual but important work they do. The only drawback? I get squeamish about blood so I think I’ll probably only last one day, but what a day that would be! My second choice would be to be an astronaut. I’m a sports nut so I train at Regina Assumpta here in Montreal, Canada. Regina is the school Canadian female astronaut Roberta Bondar graduated from. She has already been in space a few times and I can only imagine the amazing experience she has had looking back at earth from up in the space station. I would love to spend a day flying to and working on the international space station and taking part in crucial experiments and of course floating in the air wouldn’t be bad either 🙂 They say space is the future of our generation so I think it would be great to really know what it’s all about. The only thing I know wouldn’t be so great? The food. Wonder if I can bring leftovers from home or maybe Subway’s?
