For all those Star Wars fans out there, this one is for you guys: May the force be with you.

The Jedi are back and kicking! The epic Star Wars series has a brand new sequel, and all of us are counting down the days to its release. Brace yourself for Episode VII: The Force Awakens

Old is gold, and so is Luke Skywalker. Just because Han Solo is a bit old now, doesn’t mean he can’t be the good old rogue he is, and General Leia certainly isn’t gonna be any less charming or bossy. (That’s right, she’s a General now.) But you can’t always have the same stars now, can you?

Get ready for the new icons of Star Wars…I give you Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron!!! These 3 are replacing Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. But which ones will fill which shoes? You’ll just have to watch the movie to find out.

Rey is a scavenger on the desert planet Jakku. She’s completely self-sufficient and does everything for herself, until, of course, she meets Finn, and then, the ride begins.

Finn is a redeemed First Order stormtrooper. According to sources, when Finn is first focused on, he’s in incredible danger. And the way he reacts to this danger changes his life, and launches him into the Star Wars universe in a very unique way. In fact, ironically, this new character in this franchise was actually an enemy of the rebels, him being a stormtrooper. He’s been taught about Luke, and he knows Skywalker’s history as well. He becomes in possession of the most infamous lightsaber in the galaxy. Yes, you got it right…This is Anakin’s, Anakin freaking Skywalker’s lightsaber we’re talking about, Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber which of course, passed on to Luke.

Poe Dameron is a Resistance X-wing fighter pilot. He’s so good; he’s the best freaking pilot in the galaxy. And how does he meet Finn and Rey? Well, he’s been sent on a mission by a certain so-called princess, and he ends up coming across Finn, and then their fates are forever intertwined together…

But we aren’t done yet…Did I mention Darth Vader? No, I didn’t, ‘The Greatest Dark Lord’ is not, sadly, (I think) making a comeback. But light up fellows, we get a couple of two equally evil fellows.

Meet Kylo Ren, a dark warrior strong with the Force, originally a member of the Knights of Ren, and commander of the First Order.  To be honest, the SW team didn’t actually design him as being totally bad, or evil, or a villain. He’s really something that was more three-dimensional, something stranger, and possibly more exciting… He’s really, really dangerous, and quite unpredictable, and worst of all, morally justified in doing what he thinks is right. But it’s not only that, there’s a totally new, twisted, and awesome Sith lightsaber design going on. Have a look in this link.

There is the slight problem of being able to cut off your own hand if you’re skilled enough, but who cares? The design looks totally sweet!

Next up, is our final villain and character for the day, Supreme Leader Snoke, Kylo Ren’s master and a powerful figure of the Dark Side. Snoke is quite an enigmatic character, and quite powerful. He appears large in his hologram. Also, the facial design – you couldn’t have gotten there with prosthetics. Without giving too much away at this point, he has a very distinctive, idiosyncratic bone and facial structure. That’s something to look forward to…

By the way, I think I forgot the Stormtroopers. What do you mean “what stormtroopers?” What is a Star Wars movie without stormtroopers? You seriously thought there would be no annoying white-armored guards with seriously bad gun aim!? Wow, and you call yourselves Star Wars fans.

My mouth is watering as I write this. I guess it’s Star Wars saliva…Is there something called that?

Anyways, thanks for reading this long thing, and here’s to hoping the SW franchise will never end! *clink*
