Ingredients:
- 8 slices Cooked turkey
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 8 slices Cooked turkey ham
- 8 slices American cheese
- 24 slices White bread
***Batter***
- 3 tablespoons Baking powder
- 4 ½ cups all purpose Flour
- 1 ½ teaspoon Salt
- 3 ¾ cup water
- 3 large Eggs–beaten
- 3 teaspoons Sugar
- Oil–for deep frying
- Powdered sugar
- Raspberry jelly
Directions:
Assemble sandwiches: Bread , Turkey, Swiss cheese, Bread, Turkey ham, American cheese, Bread. Cut sandwich in half . Use toothpicks to hold each side of the sandwich together.
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl stir : egg, water, and sugar. Add to flour mixture and stir. Dip each sandwich in batter and deep fry (360°) until golden brown.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with jelly.
