Hi Amazing Kids! I can’t wait to share one of my favorite dishes—a Strawberry Granola Fruit Smoothie—with you. I love this recipe because it makes a quick and healthy afternoon snack; from the sweetness of the strawberries and honey to the crunch of granola, the flavor is a delicious blend. Not only does this smoothie taste delicious, but the granola sprinkled on top gives the dish an appealing look; since people eat with their eyes, presentation always matters. So the next time you can’t reach your favorite smoothie place, don’t worry: This recipe is an easy fix. Enjoy!

Strawberry Granola Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • Low-Fat Milk
  • Ice
  • Banana
  • Granola
  • Honey
  • Non-Fat, Plain Yogurt
  • Frozen Strawberries

Directions:

  1. Pour milk into blender.
  2. Add frozen strawberries, yogurt, ice, and honey.
  3. Peel banana, cut it in half, and put it in the blender.
  4. Add granola.
  5. Blend mixture.
  6. Once ingredients are smoothly combined, turn off the blender. Use a spatula to stir and to make sure the ingredients are blended thoroughly.
  7. Pour smoothie in a glass.
  8. Put granola on top (optional).
