Hi, Amazing Kids! For the December/January issue, I would like to introduce you to this delicious recipe: Lentil Salad with Pasta. Lentils are a superfood, which means that they bring many health benefits and are a terrific snack choice. Tomatoes, another superfood, also add great flavor and color to the dish. During the holidays, be sure to try Lentil Salad with Pasta at gatherings with family and friends. I hope you love the recipe as much as I do! Enjoy!

Lentil Salad with Pasta

Ingredients:

  • Lentils
  • Pasta
  • Carrots
  • Onion
  • Tomatoes
  • Lemon Juice
  • Olive Oil
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Parsley

Directions:

  1. Mix cooked pasta and cooked lentils in a bowl.
  2. Add carrots, onion, and tomatoes.
  3. Stir with spoon.
  4. Add lemon juice and olive oil immediately before serving.
  5. Serve on plate.
  6. Garnish with parmesan cheese and parsley.
