Hi, Amazing Kids! I am proud to share with you a special recipe: Kiwi Fruit Salsa. I love this fresh salsa because the flavors create an ideal blend of spicy and sweet—a perfect combination to enjoy with family and friends. Plus, kiwis are among the healthiest food options, as this fruit contains more Vitamin C than oranges and more potassium than bananas. Consider serving this delicious dish while the summer months bring your loved ones together—those times in the kitchen might become lasting memories. Enjoy!

Kiwi Fruit Salsa

Ingredients:

  • Yellow Bell Pepper
  • Green Bell Pepper
  • Jalapeno
  • Cucumber
  • Red Onion
  • Lime Juice
  • Kiwi
  • Cilantro
  • Pineapple
  • Orange Juice
  • Olive Oil
  • Honey
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Tortilla Chips

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, place cucumbers, red onion, yellow bell pepper, green bell pepper, pineapple, jalapeno, kiwi, cilantro, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix ingredients together.
  3. In a separate bowl, create the sauce by mixing orange juice, olive oil, lime juice, and honey.
  4. Stir sauce.
  5. Pour sauce over the first bowl.
  6. Mix sauce with the fruits and vegetables.
  7. Serve on a plate with tortilla chips.
