Cook Time with Remmi – March 2018

Hi, Amazing Kids! I am excited to share with you my recipe for a Breakfast Burrito! Burritos are easy and quick to make, so they make a great breakfast recipe. We all know the importance of fueling up with healthy food in the morning to be our best. Not only is the recipe full of interesting flavors, but it also provides physical and mental energy. I like to prepare this dish because it can give me a jump-start on my day. Enjoy!

Breakfast Burrito

Ingredients:

  • Avocado
  • Flour Tortillas
  • Black Beans
  • Eggs
  • Tomatoes
  • Rice
  • Cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions:

  1. Spread tortilla on plate.
  2. Scramble eggs; season them with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the eggs on top of the tortilla.
  4. Add rice, beans, and cheese.
  5. Fold burrito.
  6. Garnish with tomatoes and cheese.
  7. Serve with avocado.
