Cook Time with Remmi – October 2015

Hi Amazing Kids! I hope school is going great for everyone. Today I’d like to share one of my favorite dishes – Peas and Orange Saute. I hope you enjoy it!

Peas and Orange Sauté


  • Onion
  • Peas
  • Olive Oil
  • Orange Juice
  • Orange zest (orange shaved with a zester)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Pull out sauté pan and spoon


  1. Pour some olive oil into the sauté pan and put on medium heat.
  2. When heated, add the onions and sauté until caramelized and tender.
  3. Add the peas.
  4. Pour the orange juice into the pan with the other ingredients and stir gently.
  5. Grate an orange with a zester and add to the sauté pan. (Be sure to only use the orange part of the rind so it is not bitter.)
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Stir occasionally until the peas are cooked, but not mushy.
  8. Pour the peas into a bowl and serve.
