You can invent any characters and expose them to whichever conflicts you desire. Truly, when writing, the sky is the limit! Here are a few words to help your writing reach new heights!

Aloft: (adverb) in the air or in flight
The idea of flying aloft in the airplane filled Oliver with excitement.

Ascend: (verb) to go or move up
Laura ascended the staircase to reach her bedroom on the second floor.

Boundless: (adjective) having no limits
Adam was awed by the boundless opportunities of summer camp and tried to figure out which activity he should try first.

Glide: (verb) to move with a smooth continuous motion
She glided through the first day of school because of her confidence.

Lofty: (adjective) rising to a great height
The sky was filled with lofty clouds, and I had a feeling it was going to rain.
