In the United States we trade in our Halloween decorations for Thanksgiving and it brings us to a place where we remember and appreciate all the things we are thankful for. Our theme this month is “Thanks is in the Air” as we celebrate gifts and people that have made a difference in our lives.
Culture is a way of expressing to the world your roots of where you come from, what you believe in and your own opinions. Culture has elements which can help it be defined by language, religion, traditions such as holiday celebrations, music, and dances.
This last September 28th, people in North America, South America, West Africa and Western Europe had the opportunity to observe a rare celestial event – a lunar eclipse which coincided with a “supermoon” causing a large red moon in the sky.
