Amazing Kids! Magazine

Dec 2010 & Jan 2011: Issue #43 – Music, Melodies and Mozart!

Dear Amazing Kids!

Welcome to the December 2010/January 2011 issue of the Amazing Kids! Magazine: “Music, Melodies and Mozart!,” Issue #43.

This is a two month combination issue because we wanted our hardworking staff to have some time to enjoy the holidays. In this issue you will be transported into the wonderful world of music through a variety of stories on musical artists, musical styles, musical experiences and the mechanics of music. You’ll be introduced to musical artists such as Dan Zanes from Sirius XM radio’s Rocketship Beach Radio on Kids Place Live, Ashton Allen of the fabulous band Rabbit! and Jackie Evancho from America’s Got Talent.

You can learn to write song lyrics, cook from various music havens around the world and visit wonderful places through our Amazing Kids! Adventures and Global Village columns that will put a song in your heart. A special thank you goes to Olivia, our Assistant Editor, for this issue. She stepped up to lead this month and guided everyone into putting it all together into an interesting, fun and informative issue. Congratulations to all the fantastic youth and adult volunteer staff for the great work they did putting this issue together.

Our short story contest submission deadline has passed and we will be announcing the winners of this contest very soon. So keep checking back for news on the winners. Our Healthy Kids!
