February 2011: Issue #44 – “Amazing Animals!”

Hi Amazing Kids!,

Welcome to the February 2011 issue of the Amazing Kids! Magazine: “Amazing Animals!,” Issue #44. Whether they are found at your local zoo or on safari, these amazing animals never cease to inspire, fascinate and mesmerize us. You’ll experience the thrill of understanding these animals after reading the awesome animal articles found throughout this issue about dolphins, elephants, and other interesting creatures. Whether you delve into the adventures of the animal conservationist Steve Irwin, create a recipe called “The Bird’s Nest” or read about a silly turkey, make sure you check out all the columns for a wonderful array of animal adventure.

This issue is not only about animals, though. You’ll be treated to a camera’s eye view in the interview with Steven Silver, an award-winning cinematographer and director of photography for television. You’ll learn how a child author rose to success in the interview with Dougie Christie Jr. The Global Village column will introduce you to Spain from a teen visitor’s perspective as well as a wonderful article about the blending of American and Pakistani cultures.

Of course, this issue wouldn’t be complete without the absolutely fabulous art showcased in our Amazing Artists column and beautiful poetry displayed in the poetry column. I am always amazed by the tremendous articles, stories, art and poetry that come from you, our readers. Thank you for sharing your talents with everyone. Most importantly, the magazine couldn’t constantly improve without the work and dedication of all the fantastic youth and adult volunteer staff. You are AMAZING!
