Amazing Kids! Magazine

June/July 2011: Issue #48 – “Our Amazing Bodies”

Hi Amazing Kids!

Summer is now here and you have an exciting July 2011 issue of the Amazing Kids! Magazine: “Our Amazing Bodies,” Issue #48, for some exciting summer reading.  As we begin to have more free time to spend outdoors or participate in fun activities, it will be fun to learn more about our amazing bodies to see how they help us maximize our abilities in these activities.  In this issue you will read articles in the Nonfiction section about the body such as “Answers to the Most Interesting Body Questions,” “Creating an Easy and Unstressed Mind,” and “Have Fun, While Staying in Shape.”  In our interviews section you will hear about some individuals that have made our lives a better place including the new author, actress, wildlife conservationist and TV personality Bindi Irwin and an interview with two doctors, Dr. Reuter, a doctor at Seattle Medical Center who works with hearts and Dr. Taylor, an anesthesiologist who talks with us about the LASIK eye procedure.  Do you dream about traveling?  Look in our Amazing Kids Adventures Column for an exciting article and videos on New York City.  In our Fiction section, you’ll find high quality and creative poems and stories about everything from a wild water adventure to a touching story about the effects of volunteering.  Other artists show beautiful pieces in our Amazing Artists column.

We now have another amazing contest for everyone!  From now until August 30, you can enter our Amazing Kids! Humor Contest.  Make your summer even happier by creating some funny stories to share with our readers and win some great prizes.  See our contest page for all the details and be sure to sign up for our free Amazing Kids! eNews, so that you can find out about our contests!

Wouldn’t you love to see your work in our magazine? Your stories, art, essays, or jokes are what make our magazine great!  Send your kid-friendly submissions to us at:  See our Submission Guidelines in the “Write for Us” section.  You can do it!  Spend the summer writing creative stories or pick some of your best schoolwork that other kids would like to read.

Keep writing and don’t forget to tell your friends about Amazing Kids!

Have a fun summer,
