November Issue 2018: Issue #124 – Finding Joy in Small Things

Hi Amazing Kids!

This month’s theme is Finding Joy in Small Things, and all month long, we encourage you to look into all the small things that make your day.  November’s Amazing Kid! of the Month, Campbell Remess, is a perfect example of what it means to spread joy through small things.  He started the organization Project 365, which makes custom bears for kids and adults in need.  Additionally, Project 365 has raised money for cancer research through a variety of fundraising events.  Our Word Booster this month also follows our theme, Finding Joy in Small Things.  Read it to learn some new words relating to small and happiness.

If you are interested in having your work published in Amazing Kids! Magazine as well, we are always open to submissions.  We advise you to follow one of our following themes, which are: Holiday Cheer, Building Bridges, and Overcoming Obstacles.  Make sure you read and follow the Writer’s Guidelines before submitting.  To submit your submissions, please email editor@amazing-kids.org.

And if you are interested in getting even more involved within Amazing Kids! Magazine, consider applying for a column editor position.  We are currently looking for Humor/LOL Editor, Contest Coordinator, Movie Reviews Editor, Amazing Mentor Interviewer, and Contributing Writer.  Additionally, we are looking for an Assistant Editor.  Please apply to editor@amazing-kids.org, and attach 3 pieces of your work that relate to the position you are applying for a resume.
