Amazing Kids! Magazine

October 2011: Issue #51 – “Educational Excellence”

Hello Amazing Kids!

Here is your 51th issue! of Amazing Kids! Magazine right in time for the fall including some amazing articles and art! School has officially started again for most of us and along with it comes learning. So this October Issue’s theme is “Educational Excellence.” You will find many different types of articles about different aspects of school and learning. In the nonfiction section, there are articles on “Making Education Exciting,” “Technology in the Classroom” and “Brain Food.” We have a wonderful interview this month with an amazing young writer and teacher, Adora Svitak.  Read her interview to find out tips about teaching online and to different age groups.  During the school year, fun trips can also be incorporated with education. In our Amazing Kids! Adventures! Section, an Amazing Kids Staff member has visited the Gutenberg Museum in Germany. As always, let your imagination run in the Fiction Section with new shorts and poems. Don’t miss the profound paintings and art in the Amazing Artists! Section too.

The deadline of our humor contest was September 30, 2011. The prizes include a family DVD and humorous book and the grand prizewinner will also win a $25 gift card to Amazon.com and get their entry published in Amazing Kids! Good luck to all that submitted. The results will be published in the next issue.

See our contest page for details on current and future contests. Be sure to sign up for our free Amazing Kids! eNews, so that you can receive updates at:  http://amazingkids.kintera.org/AKeNews.
