A Hawk of Fear

By Noah Jones, Age 9, Texas

You are staring
into the
face
of  fear
crawling
inside of you.
A fear flying above
your head.  You know it’s
there.  A bird.  A bird of misery.
A   hawk   you   hear
whispering.  You hear a voice.
It says to fight the fear.  You take the
fear, and you make it bravery.
