Amazing Kids! Magazine

Like green moss growing in a pond,
Algae floats in the water,
Spreading across the entire area.

Like a couple of kids playing tug of war,
The ducks fight for a bite of algae,
Their primary food source.

Like magnets with poles attracting each other,
The algae sticks together,
Seemingly inseparable.

Like adventurers who take short cuts,
The ducks attempt to eat through the middle,
Although they end up resorting to the edges.

The algae remains.
