A thick patch of snow
Instantly blew and thinned;
It appears weightless
As it flies in the gusty wind.
The snow glides through
In a rhythmic, effortless coast;
The gust becomes stronger,
And the wind looks like a ghost.
Breezes of snow run;
Their enticement is taunting.
I shiver with fear
At the snow’s breathless haunting.
The wind is creepy
And mysteriously sweeps;
It knows my secrets,
Secrets I pray it keeps.
