Unconditional love ascends on wings
Bound together like beloved songbirds
A blind eye to spoils mankind brings
Just whistling wings no need for any words
From silken feathered wing tips pure
Release us from these earthly duties
A higher love eternal to endure
That embraces an everlasting beauty
But do not lament this ascent to death
Soaring high to the ultimate ending
Souls now returned to mother’s sweet breast
A self-sacrifice that’s worth defending
So mourn no more you have freedom alas
Doves are the door through which death may pass
