The sun rises up over the lake,
It is dawn, daybreak,
And the lake is glistening,
With beauty and expectations.
It is like a waterfall, cascading,
A rush of happiness in good times,
A rush of hope through bad,
It is ocean blue.
Its waves can touch the sky,
Its tides can go for miles,
Everything imaginable can happen,
And the possibilities touch the sky.
And when I say goodbye,
The sky winks at me,
