Sparkling, scattered star
Shining, scintillating, sunlit
Sphere saturated with sorrow
For no one stares deeper
Past the surface
Everyone savors the sight
But no one cares about
The significance of what’s underneath
The superstar attitude
The shinning, radiant glow
That masks the real person
Who is not perfect
Sparkling, scattered star
Shining, scintillating, sunlit
Sphere saturated with sorrow
Wanting to reveal who they really are
But never given the chance
