Amazing Kids! Magazine

By Eve Hickey, age 9, Michigan

Snow falls to the icy ground,
Cheering everyone around.
The happy moods are safe and sound
As winter shovels crash and pound.
Salt is spread across the path
To spare it from the ice’s wrath.
Happy tourists smile and laugh;
An angry man bangs his staff.
Christmas carolers knock at doors
And go singing songs at stores.
Happy children munch on s’mores.
And all the students practice their fours
For when they go back to school.
Everyone wants to be the kid that’s cool,
Not up front sitting on a stool.
The children think the punishments are cruel.
