Amazing Kids! Magazine

I look out my window,
Seeing the whirly snowflakes
Swirl around in the cold winter air.
Those bare trees,
The whipping wind,
The snow-covered ground.
I take my coat, mittens, hat, and boots
And trudge outside.
I feel the snow crunching under my feet.
Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
The sound of biting a crispy apple.
The cold air stings my face
Like needles.
The snow on the mountaintops
Looks like white frosting on a cake.
The snowflakes,
The icy breeze,
The white world.
It all makes my heart pound in excitement.
