Pablo Picasso is an amazing kid from history. As a painter, printmaker, ceramicist, and stage designer, he inspires us to think creative, positive ideas and bring them to life in any way possible. Pablo was born on October 25 in Málaga, Spain in 1881. Taking after his father, Pablo shared a passion for painting and art. Even though he wasn’t the best student in school, Pablo was very interested and excelled at drawing. Noticing his amazing talent, Pablo’s father, an artist, taught him everything he knew. Before long, Pablo could paint and draw much better than his father could. With this rich talent, Pablo paid less and less attention to his schoolwork and spent the majority of his day sketching and drawing in notepads and sketchbooks.
When he was a little bit older, Pablo moved twice and was accepted into two fine art programs. However, he didn’t care very much for the special techniques they taught and often wandered the streets by himself drawing the scenes around him. After moving to these two places, Pablo moved back home to Barcelona and decided that he would create new techniques of art and painting based off what he saw fit together perfectly.
Later, Pablo decided to move to Paris, France, where he began perfecting his own techniques of painting, drawing, and other forms of art. His drawings, paintings, and art included pieces about sadness, poverty, adversity, classics, surrealism, and self portraits. One of his major types of work is called cubism, which includes art with all sizes of geometric shapes together on the piece of art. This type of art is very significant because no other artist had come up with the idea before. Pablo decided to try something new, and as a result, cubism is widely accepted today as a classic style of art. Pablo spent the majority of his life as artist.
Pablo shows us that we can accomplish anything we set our minds to. He tells us to think outside of the box and come up with fresh new ideas that can change the world with their meaning. His new techniques introduced into the art community inspires the drawings, paintings, and art we use today. Without his unique designs, art would be very different. He also shows us to always be ourselves and to stand up for our special ideas.
Pablo inspires us to always be creating and thinking and coming up with awesome ideas. He also plays a significant role in what art is today. In this way, Pablo Picasso really is an amazing kid from history.
