But now, they do! Read our interview for this issue and keep your eyes peeled for clues. Go to the bottom and check out the “Who Am I” section for the final dish on our inanimate interviewee!
AK: I hear you hang around with fine women. Is that true?
TB: Yes! I’ve rubbed wrists and held hands with noble women all over the world.
AK: Where can you be found today?
TB: I’m at my finest in Iran and the Southwestern part of the United States, but I can also be found in China and Europe.
AK: Is it true that you relieve stress and ease mental tension?
TB: Well, it’s kind of a myth, but what people believe can have a strong effect on their reality. So, in a way, I guess it’s true.
AK: What is your favorite color, TB?
TB: Oh, I’m very fond of this bluish-green color. I like to use accents of brown and black too.
AK: Do you take multi-vitamins?
TB: No, of course not. I’m very rich in minerals already.
AK: Oh, I see. You do have a healthy shine.
AK: What’s your favorite joke, TB?
TB: Oh, I’ve got a great one. Ready? What did the small, shy stone say?
AK: I don’t know. What?
TB: I wish I was a little bolder.
AK: Do you have a favorite animal?
TB: I really like the canary, because it was the first animal I ever saw deep in my underground home.
AK: When is your birthday?
TB: My birthday is celebrated in December.
AK: What do you have to do to get ready to go out?
TB: After I’m mined, I’m cut, ground, polished and drilled. And, then I’m ready to shine.
Who am I?
