Basketball star Amar’e Stoudemire has written a great series of books based on his life. The first two books, Home Court and Double Team talk about his early years as a child and how basketball has changed his life forever.

Amar’e Stoudemire is 11 years old and likes a lot of stuff. He likes basketball and skateboarding in the park. He takes school seriously and he helps his dad with work. He plays basketball at the park with his friends, but when a group of kids come and take over the court, Amar’e and his friends have to win the court back! In the second book, Amar’e realizes that basketball is his true passion, and he starts competing in tournaments with his friends. Amar’e and his group keep winning. The main reason for their success is Amar’e. He starts getting attention from the older, better players, and he gets invited to an invite only tournament. The problem is, it’s on the same day as his friends’ tournament. What will Amar’e do? Read both books to find out!

I would strongly recommend these books to basketball fans and kids ages 7 and up. I really enjoyed these books, and I hope if you read the books you will too!
