Do you believe in magic? Why or why not?

Sharon (Editor-in-Chief):  Yes, I do believe in magic and I always have. Although I had discovered that the magic that occurs in fantasy novels isn’t necessarily the kind of magic you’ll find in real life, there is truth to the idea that there are small things in life that are magical. I enjoy appreciating and paying attention to details in nature and in the world around me because they are, eventually, what makes our lives so magical.

Ryan (Assistant Editor): I don’t believe in magic as something or someone that possesses a special power.  I believe that people attribute magic to things that happen that they don’t understand. I do believe that you can trick your brain into believing things by using illusions, however. These things are explainable by allowing your senses to experiences things. I believe magic as illusions is entertaining and fun.
